I’ve been working with Global Angels lately helping organize an amazing Expedition through the North West Passage. The trip is hoping to raise money so it can provide safe drinking water for children in need, whilst raising awareness of climate change.
In September 2010, Bear Grylls will be leading a team of 5 to take an ice breaking Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) through 2,500 miles of the infamous ice strewn North West Passage, linking the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans via the Arctic.
Please help. Every little reblog helps raise awareness!
 * Also if you donate at least £1 ($1.60 US) you could win a trip to meet Bear Grylls! (& eat dinner with him!)

  THE GLOBAL ANGELS VISION:
The number of children suffering in every country of the world is now at a catastrophic level and is increasing exponentially.
It is time for us to rise to the challenge and respond with innovative and sustainable solutions to make the world a safer, kinder and healthier place for ALL the children of this generation in every country.
We have a dream – of a vast network of “Angels” – people like you and me, from all ages and cultures, uniting together as a powerful movement to generate an effective global response to the needs of the worlds most vulnerable children and youth.
By providing sustainable solutions that empower and equip these young people, we give them the tools they need to make the most of the opportunities that lie before them.
Millions of people long to be involved in something of value that will radically change children’s lives for the better. Global Angels draws together a vast network of professionals and volunteers, to make this opportunity a reality by supporting the initiatives of best-practice charities in every country, and making a long-lasting and powerful impact on world suffering.
We have a bold belief that we can turn things around. While Governments and their policies make some impact, it is only when the public at large becomes involved, that social justice and change can proliferate across a nation and eventually the world.
The combined impression of celebrity concerts, compelling documentaries, and partnerships within the business world, will provide the impetus that will pool together a vast resource of professionals, business leaders, volunteers and financial support. … everyone can be an Angel
